Saint Wenceslaus Seniors Organization
Our Seniors Citizens Group is made up of about 89 members who are 55 years
and older. We gather every second Friday of the month at 11:00 a.m. to share
lunch and play games like bingo! We come to be with friends and share our
faith. For more information, you can speak to Nora Castillo or Clare Kiczula.
Spanish Prayer Group
Our Spanish Prayer Group meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Every
week between 60 and 75 people gather to pray, sing, and share the Word of
God. The team of leaders is made up of about 18 adults and young adults who
plan the different activities including sharing skits, nights of praise and
worship, and group discussion nights. We meet to grow spiritually and in our
relationship with God! For more information, you can speak with Ismael Gomez.
Religious Education Program
Our Religious Education Program serves over 230 students in both English and
Spanish every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. We have eighteen dedicated catechists,
most of whom have already completed catechist certification. This year 85
children will receive First Holy Communion and 41 young people will be confirmed.
We have also prepared adults to receive the Sacraments through our RCIA Program.
Deacon Jaime Rios and his wife, Gladys, are the coordinators of this program.
Ladies Rosary Society
The Ladies Rosary Society meets every first Sunday in May and October. The
30 members gather at the 9:00 a.m. Mass and have a meeting afterwards to share
breakfast, pray the rosary and take up their dues which are donated to the
parish. They gather to share news of the parish and to pray the rosary for
the strength and vitality of the St. Wenceslaus Community. Florence Wajerski
